THE VILLA PARK Recreation Department offers volleyball programs for persons ages 18 and older. Intermediate players will meet 8-10 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 23 through March 27. Beginning players will meet 8-10 p.m. Thursdays, Jan. 24 through March 28. Both programs will be conducted at the Iowa Community Center, 338 N. Iowa Ave., Villa Park. Registration fee is $10 for residents; $13 for nonresidents. Jogging and exercise programs for persons ages 18 and older begin Monday. One program will meet 7:30-9 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through March 13. Fee is $16 for residents; $19 for nonresidents. The Batavia Park District offers a trip to the Sting-Kansas City Comets soccer game Jan. 27 at Chicago Stadium. Fee is $9. Also planned is a trip to the Bulls-Boston Celtics basketball game Feb. 5 at the Stadium. Cost is $17.50. Registration is at the Batavia recreation office, 327 W. Wilson St., Batavia.
