Rocky Lockridge made his second defense of the World Boxing Association junior lightweight title a successful one by stopping second-ranked Kamel Bou Ali of Tunisia less than a minute into the sixth round in Riva del Garda, Italy, when Bou Ali`s corner threw in the towel. ”He was a good,
inexperienced fighter,” Lockridge said of his opponent, who had entered the scheduled 15-round bout with a 17-0-1 record. Lockridge, who won the title with a first-round knockout of Roger Mayweather Feb. 26, is now 36-3.
