A report in a recent Tribune notes that Joanna Carson, Johnny`s ex, has requested the court to grant her an extra $6,000 a month in addition to the $44,600 she now is receiving, saying that she will be forced to sell some of her stocks and bonds in order to make ends meet.
It is just possible that when she agreed to her first monthly settlement she forgot to include rations for her pet gerbil and canary, but surely Johnny could point out that was made up in part by her need for 50 percent less detergent now that she is doing laundry for only one person.
And she could always think about taking in boarders.
