Mass for Dr. Henry Lewandowski, 81, a physician who practiced on the Southwest Side for more than 50 years before he retired, will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Turibius Catholic Church, 5646 S. Karlov Ave. Dr. Lewandowski, of Frankfurt, Ill., died Thursday in Olympia Fields Osteopathic Medical Center. He was a past president and staff member for many years of Christ Hospital, Oak Lawn. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; a daughter, Henrietta Garvin; a son, Philip; two grandchildren; and five sisters.
