Mr. Abbott, an Elk Grove Village resident who died Monday while vacationing in Palm Beach, Fla., was a retired senior partner in the Arthur Andersago. He was born in Chicago. Mr. Abbott is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a son, James; a sister; and a grandchild.
