Services for John R. Isbell, 66, a former mailing room employee for The Tribune, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at 4445 S. King Dr. Mr. Isbell was a Tribune mailer for six years until he retired in December, 1983. Previously he worked for the Chicago Sun-Times. Mr. Isbell, of the South Side, died Sunday in Veterans Administration Lakeside Medical Center, 333 E. Huron St. Survivors include his wife, Hattie; a daughter, Rochelle Becks; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers.
