Dave Collignon, Immaculate Conception–The senior had 29 points and 9 rebounds against the Academy of St. James and 33 points and 13 rebounds against Westmont.
Dave Ruehl, Notre Dame–The senior collected 36 points, 10 assists and 6 rebounds in a 74-57 victory over Holy Cross.
Tracy Escher, St. Gregory–The junior totaled 60 points and 29 rebounds in two games as her team defeated Madonna and lost to Notre Dame.
TRACK AND FIELD
Angie Foster, Evanston–The senior was named outstanding athlete in the Bloom Trail Relays. She won the 50- and 300-yard dashes.
Steve Peregoy, Downers Grove North–The senior set indoor school records of 22 feet 8 inches in the long jump and 45-2 1/2 in the triple jump.
Dean Starkey, Maine West–The senior set a school record of 15 feet in the pole vault.
