Storage Technology Inc., the Louisville, Colo., computer peripheral manufacturer that is undergoing financial reorganization under Chapter 11 of the bankruptcy code, announced it expects a $30 million loss for the first quarter. A year earlier, Storage Technology lost $16.7 million on revenues of $179.5 million. Ryal Poppa, chairman, said losses may continue throughout 1985 but that they are expected to decrease.
