A waitress who leaped from a Soviet cruise ship into the icy waters off Norway and trudged through Arctic wastelands to seek refuge in the West flew back to the Soviet Union Wednesday.
The 29-year-old Ukrainian woman, who was not identified, returned home after meeting with the Soviet consul at a hospital where she was being treated for frostbite, Norwegian officials said.
