The recent article in The Tribune about the burglar who was awarded $750,000 because he was shot by an officer as he was fleeing the scene leaves me sick. It`s disgusting that our court system rewards criminals. Maybe the officer ought to have killed the burglar, and saved a lot of money for the city.
