Don`t let the park district fool you about the difficulty of taking care of Garfield Park. Neither does it take care of the picnic area of the Grant Park bandshell, and a stroll through Lincoln Park in the neighborhood of North Avenue will attest to the seediness of the Chicago parks.
Even though I am an out-of-towner, I do love and utilize the Chicago parks and can only state that this seems to be another example of the citizenry not getting its money`s worth from the politicians who rule.
