Leon C. Koenig, 85, retired founder and vice president of Lindberg Engineering Co., died Thursday in Resurrection Hospital, Chicago. Mr. Koenig, of Edgebrook, also was the past president of the Near Northwest Civic Committee Inc. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Gibbs; four grandchildren; a brother; and a sister. Mass was said Saturday in St. Mary of the Woods Church, 7000 N. Moselle Ave.
