Baxter Travenol Laboratories Inc. and American Hospital Supply Corp. said that, as expected, they received a second request from the Justice Department for information concerning their proposed merger. The firms said they will give the government the information requested in about two to three weeks and still expect that the $3.8 billion deal to be completed by the end of October. Separately, the firms said four current outside directors on American`s board will join the Baxter board, along with two top American managers and directors.
