The Hardware Show brings retailers and suppliers together from across the world to show new products and do-it-yourself ideas at McCormick Place. The doors just closed on the 1985 show and it was packed with news.

A slideout organizer tray holds hardware and other small items. A multislot tool rack is mounted on the side. From Hirsh.

— Retractable Screen Door: The screen rolls on a spring into a tube inside or outside on the door frame. Saves swing room needed for opening and closing a door. From Nedamco.
