Anyone can tell by reading Bernie Lincicome`s column of Aug. 13 that he is not a Cub fan. He characterizes them as good people who enjoy losing, not only games but anything (in other words, dumb). He seems to enjoy running down everybody and everything. What a way to go through life!
Well, I`m a Cub fan and I don`t enjoy losing, but what kind of fan would I be if I deserted my team during a bad time? Do I desert my school team when it`s not doing well? Do I desert my country if it loses some battles in the political world?
