Your editorial ”A Cold War dust-up” (Aug. 26) asks a number of pertinent questions regarding State Department charges of longtime use of chemical dusting by the KGB. I still have a rather obvious question. When the Moscow embassy spokesman told a large and concerned audience about the dusting, why didn`t he add something like, ”Now that we have so many of you here, we`ll check you out with our little ultraviolet light to see if any of you have the stuff on you”?
