Country singer Barbara Mandrell returns in a one-hour special that originally aired last January, ”Barbara Mandrell: Something Special,” at 9 p.m. Tuesday on CBS-Ch. 2. At Nashville`s original Grand Ole Opry, the Ryman Auditorium, Mandrell reminisces with Roy Acuff about her career.
The show features the Texas-born singer performing songs of classic and coalso is joined in several gospel numbers by the Rev. Alexander Hamilton and the 50-voice choir, the Voices of Inspiration.
