General Motors Corp. announced plans to build a $240 million paint facility at its car assembly plant in Framingham, Mass. The paint shop is scheduled to be in operation by August, 1987. The Framingham plant employs nearly 4,000 workers and produces the Chevrolet Celebrity and Oldsmobile Cutlass and Ciera models.
