Matilde H. Wiley, 89, who was active for years in Chicago cultural and educational organizations, died Friday in Northwestern Memorial Hospital. No services were held. Mrs. Wiley, a longtime Near North Side resident, was the wife of the late Clarence F. Wiley, steel company executive. Mrs. Wiley had been a member of the Fortnightly and Tavern Clubs and active in many organizations, including the Art Institute, Orchestral Association, Field Museum and the Museum of Science and Industry. Survivors include a son, Andrew E.; and two sisters.
