Something is rotten in the State of France.
Now that the festering corruption called the ”Greenpeace scandal” has bubbled to the surface on the body politic of ”La Belle France,” it will be interesting to see if that nation`s organs of justice are moribund from its moral cancer.
As an attorney, I will join the world in watching to see if:
(1) The actual bombers of the Rainbow Warrior get their just desserts and, more importantly, (2) if the involved government officials of France ever see the inside of a jail cell under the principles of the felony-murder doctrine.
I, for one, predict the answers will be:
(1) ”No” and (2) ”Never.”
That`s precisely what you can expect of a country whose citizens have told me that our Watergate scandal was ”une mouche”–a fly!
