Commonwealth Edison Co. said third-quarter net income rose 15 percent, to $366.3 million, or $1.76 a share, from $315.9 million, or $1.66 a share, while revenues advanced to $1.49 billion from $1.46 billion. James J. O`Connor, chairman, said the improvement was primarily because of higher electrical service rates and larger construction-related credits.
