Union Pacific Corp. said negotiations for the proposed $108 million acquisition of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad from Katy Industries Inc. were extended to Nov. 15. The two sides are divided over a condition that Katy acquire 41.2 percent of the railroad`s registered certificates.
