Comets update–Kansas City (2-1) lost for the first time 5-4 Wednesday in Minnesota. The Comets` leading scorer is forward Damir Haramina (three goals, 1 assist). Goalkeeper Alan Mayer has played in all three matches, but coach Rick Benben said Manny Schwartz will probably face the Sting.
Sting update–The Sting (0-3) has won all four games against the Comets in the Stadium, most recently 3-0 last Jan. 27. The Sting`s unlikely leading scorer is defender Chico Moreira, who has three assists. Karl-Heinz Granitza is the only Sting with two goals.
