The recent stories about building a new stadium have me wondering if the sports team owners are going to get the taxpayers to foot the bill. I don`t mind paying taxes for good reasons, but if the owners need help with their bills it is only because they pay outrageous sums of money to their players.
There is plenty of revenue from TV, gate receipts and concessions to pay for their facilities, except that they are giving it all away to overpaid athletes.
