Blast update–Last season`s Eastern Division champion had early problems, but is 4-3 now, including two straight victories. Defender Richard Chinapoo is the unlikely leading scorer for the Blast with three goals and six assists. Stan Stamenkovic, who was 4-4-8 against the Sting last year, Paul Kitson and Mike Stankovic remain scoring threats. Another player to watch is former Sting All-Star defender Frantz Mathieu.
Sting update–Forward Pato Margetic, whose injured right knee has kept him sidelined since last April 24, is off the disabled list but won`t play. The Sting was a surprising 3-1 against Baltimore last season, winning the last three meetings. Lifetime, the Sting is 2-2 in Baltimore and 4-4 overall. Sunday`s match marks defender Heinz Wirtz`s first appearance against his former mates.
