Severe financial problems are forcing Control Data Corp. to drop a Minnesota state prison work program that employed about 150 inmates. The $1.3- million-a-year computer equipment assembly contract will be moved from Stillwater State Prison to a West German plant. Control Data lost $269.6 million in the first nine months of the year.
