The Federal Reserve Board set a Jan. 8 meeting to take final action on its proposal to bring certain types of ”junk bond” financing under the Fed`s margin regulations. The meeting, open to the public, was postponed from Dec. 31, the Fed said, because of the volume of public comments it received on the issue–including sharp criticism from the Reagan administration and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
