A traveling exhibition, The Best of American Illustration: Selections from the Delaware Art Museum, runs from Jan. 17 to March 2 at the Terra Museum of American Art in Evanston.
The show features 74 works, among them illustrations from books such as
”Treasure Island” and ”The Scarlet Letter” and magazines such as Cosmopolitan, The Saturday Evening Post and Ladies` Home Journal.
The museum is at 2600 Central Park Ave. It is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Call 328-3400 for more information.
