Mass for John Conners, 84, retired owner of the John Conners News Agency on the Southwest Side, will be said at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Peter`s Catholic Church, 557 W. Lake St., Antioch. He died Tuesday in St. Therese Hospital, Waukegan. Mr. Conners, of Antioch, was a charter member of the South Shore Country Club. Survivors include his wife, Emily; 5 daughters, Jean Cronin, Barbara Schweitzer, Patrice Duffy, Sheila and Deborah; a son, Michael; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a brother.
