Fire investigators and police bomb and arson detectives on Sunday were investigating a predawn blaze in a North Lawndale building that killed a 7-year-old boy. According to fire department spokesman Jerry Lawrence, the fire in the two-story brick apartment building at 1920 S. St. Louis Ave. was reported just before 6 a.m. The victim, William Cowley, was found in a second- floor bedroom.
