General Motors Corp. said it will continue to produce its rear-wheel-drive G-cars–the Chevy Monte Carlo and Olds Cutlass–at its Arlington, Tex., assembly plant. Originally, GM had planned to build the 1988 model GM-10 line, front-wheel-drive replacements for most of its current rear-drive intermediates, at Arlington.
