Mass for Gerald C. Weber, 55, a retired Chicago police lieutenant, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 4646 N. Austin. Ave. Mr. Weber died Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield, Wis. Mr. Weber retired in 1984 after serving 28 years with the Chicago Police Department. His last assignment was in the traffic division. Prior to that, Mr. Weber had served 10 years as a police helicopter pilot. Mr. Weber, a former Northwest Side resident, moved to Owen, Wis., after his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Joan; two sons, Gary and Dennis; a daughter, Felipa; two sisters; a brother; and five grandchildren.
