Mikhail Baryshnikov will be dancing in ”Giselle” Wednesday in a last-minute schedule change, adding a fifth performance to his work during the American Ballet Theatre`s engagement at the Auditorium Theatre.
Baryshnikov will partner Marianna Tcherkassky, replacing the ailing Kevin McKenzie. McKenzie is still scheduled to perform in the world premiere of
”Requiem” during the ABT performance Friday evening.
Baryshnikov, the company`s artistic director, is now set to dance in
”Giselle” at 8 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday and in ”Swan Lake,” Act II, at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 8 p.m. Monday.
