Kendall Gill, Rich Central–The 6-3 senior collected 45 points, 18 rebounds and 11 assists in two victories.
Lisa Birnbaum, Immaculate Conception–The 5-10 junior scored 64 points in three games.
Kris Formell, Regina Dominican–The 5-9 sophomore collected 39 points, 21 rebounds and 8 assists in two games.
Sheryl Porter, Marshall–The 5-8 senior forward had 42 points, 10 rebounds, 7 steals and 3 assists in her team`s 73-61 victory over Maria.
BOWLING
Debbie Price, Fenton–The senior bettered the existing state record with a 725 series and the school record with a 264 game as Fenton won the team title in the North Suburban Conference meet.
GYMNASTICS
Michele Hernandez, Fremd–The junior won all-around with a 9.5 average and won two other events as Fremd won the Mid-Suburban League meet.
Tami Hener, Resurrection–The senior won the all-around (9.1 average) and two other events as her team won the title in the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference meet.
Lisa Peterson, Stagg–The senior won all-around (9.45 average) and all four individual events as Stagg won the team title in the South Inter-Conference Association West Division meet.
SWIMMING
George Imredy, Fenwick–The senior won the 100-yard butterfly (53.32 seconds) and 500-yard freestyle (4:49.87) in the Catholic League meet.
