This putting a cap on spending for nuclear power plants is the most ridiculous solution to an unsolvable problem. Braidwood was started with a $600 million to $900 million budget and it has blossomed to over $3.5 billion, and moving up fast.

You need only to look at other nuclear power plants in any state as an example. The costs were unbearable to the consumers. Illinoisans` electric bills will skyrocket for years to come.

A cap for spending on a nuclear power plant anywhere is useless. The solution is to shut Braidwood down.
