If you didn`t get hooked Sunday night on ABC`s ”Crossings” or CBS`

”Blood & Orchids” and are looking for an evening of TV viewing, consider an encore showing of ”Go Tell It on the Mountain,” based on James Baldwin`s semi-autobiographical novel by the same name. The ”American Playhouse”

presentation begins at 8 p.m. on WTTW-Ch. 11 and will be followed by a short documentary, ”My Childhood: James Baldwin`s Harlem,” narrated by Baldwin.

”Go Tell It on the Mountain” centers around a young Southern boy`s coming of age between the years 1902-35 as he struggles with the church`s teachings and the world of wealth and power that tempts him.

The cast includes Paul Winfield, Ruby Dee and Linda Hopkins.
