Even though ABC and CBS went into the last weekend of February sweeps with high-profile mini-series–”Crossings” and ”Blood & Orchids”–NBC won the week in the A.C. Nielsen ratings. CBS and ABC placed second and third, respectively.

Part one of both mini-series aired Sunday night, with CBS` ”Blood & Orchids,” starring Kris Kristofferson, finishing in 8th place, while part one of ABC`s three-part ”Crossings,” based on Danielle Steel`s best-seller, placed 26th. NBC`s Sunday night movie, ”The Fifth Missile,” came in 46th.

On the national soap watch: ”Dallas” took the 15th spot, ”Knots Landing” was 21st, ”Falcon Crest” was 33d and ”The Colbys” finished 35th.
