The article ”Nuclear survival” in the Feb. 16 Tribune does a disservice to peace. It suggests that a nuclear war could be won and that somehow civilization could survive.
Is there anyone left in the world who still believes that, with the exception of big-budget Pentagon types? Our only hope is peace and disarmament and that effort must transcend all other political and ideological considerations.
