Chicago and North Western Transportation Co. said will buy a 50 percent interest in a 10-mile Burlington Northern Railroad Co. line serving several Wyoming coal mines. Western Rail Properties Inc., a CNW subsidiary, will pay Burlington Northern $27 million for half ownership.
