Richard Dotson looked impressive again Thursday, throwing three shutout innings in the White Sox`s 3-2 victory over the New York Mets. He threw 50 pitches, allowing two hits, two walks and striking out two.

”I could have thrown 70 pitches,” said Dotson, who is coming back from chest muscle surgery. ”I`m almost throwing too good.”

Neil Allen also threw three shutout innings. Harold Baines had a run-scoring double in the first inning off of Dwight Gooden, who was the loser.
