I am outraged at a U.S. President and his administration using blackmail on the U.S. Congress; that is, saying that those in Congress who vote against the $100 million for contra aid are communist supporters. Perhaps Congress doesn`t want to support a failed policy.
I am outraged at a U.S. President and his administration using blackmail not only on Congress, but also on the American people, by saying in effect:
”Give us the money for contra aid; otherwise, give us your boys for war.”
And out the other side of their mouths they say that they have no plans to send U.S. troops against Nicaragua.
