Services for Andrew Engel, 74, formerly of Chicago, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church of St. Joseph, Mich. Mr. Engel died Tuesday in his home in St. Joseph. Mr. Engel, who was born in Borgardt, Russia, in 1912, worked in Chicago for the Anton Clemetsen Co. wood shop as a woodworker. He retired in 1978. Mr. Engel is survived by his wife, Marie; two daughters, Marie Mansolf and Bonnie Krieger; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother; and a sister.
