Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. agreed to pay $5.7 million to 385 people who filed a class-action age discrimination suit at Goodyear`s plant in Union City, Tenn. The suit said Goodyear failed to hire persons between ages 40 and 65 for production jobs.
