Mass for Isabelle B. Abbott, a retired State of Illinois investigator, will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1415 N. North Park Ave. Mrs. Abbott, of the Near North Side, died Friday in Augustana Hospital. For 30 years, until the mid-1970s, she investigated compliance with state labor laws by Loop-area firms. She had been a model for Rothmoor Garments, which sold to major Chicago department stores in the 1940s.
