David H. Cohen, 47, a member of the faculty of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, has been named Northwestern University`s vice president for research and dean of the graduate school, starting Sept. 1. Cohen has been professor and chairman of neurobiology and behavior, professor of anatomical sciences and professor of psychology at SUNY Stony Brook.
