Mass for Carol Lynn Stancik, 17, a recent graduate of Oak Lawn High School, was said Monday in St. Louis De Montfort Catholic Church, 8808 S. Ridgeland Ave., Oak Lawn. Miss Stancik, of Oak Lawn, died Thursday in Kalamazoo, Mich., a day after the car she was driving flipped over on a country road near South Haven, Mich. Miss Stancik had planned to attend De Paul University. Survivors include her parents, Ronald and Winifred Stancik;
two brothers; and one grandmother.
