Mass for Gary S. Schettel, a partner in the Denver office of the accounting firm of Laventhol & Horwath, will be said at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Grand Rapids, Mich. Mr. Schettel, 37, died Saturday in Denver. He was a native of Grand Rapids who had lived in Chicago for 12 years. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Alvin and Helen Schettel, and two sisters.
