In my lifetime, I have seen some of the ”greats” marching in parades in Chicago: celebrities, presidents, mayors, the Pope and the Bears. But none was greater than the veterans who marched here June 13. it was the most heart-rending experience, I think, this city has ever had. These men were shouting ”Thank you, Chicago.” Well, I`d like to say thank you to all the people who coordinated this event.
