Outboard Marine Corp. expects earnings for its fiscal third quarter ending Monday to be ”in the neighborhood” of the $16.3 million, or 97 cents a share, it reported a year earlier. The Waukegan manufacturer believes its fiscal 1986 earnings will exceed the $29.4 million, or $1.74 a share, it earned in fiscal 1985.
