Two Evanston youths charged Friday with residential burglary in Glenview are being investigated for possible involvement in a string of burglaries in several northwestern suburbs, according to Cook County sheriff`s police. Daniel Lee Evans, 18, of 2121 Oakton St., and Charles B. Watson, 19, of 1806 Dobson St., in the north suburb, admitted to police that they had ”done so many jobs,” they could not recall all the locations or how much money and merchandise they had stolen, said sheriff`s Sgt. Ernest Marinelli. ”They specialized in jewelery and cash, and usually gained entry into homes by cutting holes in the screens,” Marinelli said. Both youths will be questioned by police from Deerfield, Northbrook and Glenview in connection with unsolved burgularies in those suburbs.
